Little Italy Chicago Neighborhood Association (LICNA) was incorporated as a non-profit organization September 20, 2017. • LICNA adopted its by-laws on April 10, 2018. • LICNA received 501c3 status on October 18, 2018.
Current accomplishments:
- Selected promoter and coordinated Taylor St. Festa Italia in 2018 & 2019
- Awarded monetary donations to Galileo and Smyth Schools
- Successfully petitioned for the naming of the new Chicago Public Library as Little Italy Branch
- Coordinates several Clean & Green for the neighborhood completed by community residents
- Participates in National Italian Heritage dedications
